"Upgrade Firmware and Changed Camera Settings"

Bellingham, US

Hello,
I recently upgraded my firmware to the latest version. Then I went out to take some photos. When I returned and began PP I noticed that all the pics were JPG. I always shoot RAW. I think the upgrade changed my settings. I have no other explanation for this.

Which camera? Do you need advice about how to switch back to raw shooting? I didn't have this happen the one I time I upgraded the firmware on my D7000.

Hello Suck409,
I have the D7100. Everything else seems to be fine but that setting. I know how to set it back to RAW.
Take care,
Bill

A correctly-performed firmware update should not change the NEF/JPEG Image Quality settings. There must be something else going on here.

I can't explain it Brian. I just mention it for the next guy to double check his settings after he does the update.
