"Get FN Button To Show Virtual Horizon"

Bellingham, US

Hello,
I have been trying to get the function button to show the virtual horizon. What I am doing is pressing Controls-Assign FN Button-Viewfinder Virtual Horizon. I would think I would be done there but it is not working. I am doing something wrong. Can someone set me on the right path?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Controls => assign fn button => press => virtual horizon. Note that it only shows the roll indicator on the bottom and right of the screen, not the virtual horizon like shown on the back display.

Hello Richard,
I think your explanation is exactly what I have been doing before. Can you point out the difference between what I was doing and what you are doing. Sorry for the bother. I forgot to mention that I have the 7100.

you pressed "press" and the selected yes? If so did you press the function button once to turn it on and look closely along the edge of the viewfinder?

Thank you Richard.
Boy, that is small in the viewfinder. But it is working. Thanks again.
