"Can FV lock only be setup as a custom function button on D7000?"

St. Augustine, US

I have an SB-800 and would like to use FV lock from time to time. As far as I can tell one can only activate this feature by assigning it to the Function button.

Is this correct?

Hi Graham,

You can use Custom Setting f2 to assign the Function button for FV lock or f4 to assign the AE-L/AF-L button for FV lock.
If you use the MB-D15 you can also use f9 to set the AE-L/AF-L button on the MB-D15 for FV lock.

Best Regards,
Marty
