how can you tell if the sensor cleaning option is actually working? I cannot hear anything happening,ever.does it make any noise? just curious,thanks. Troy

The incamera sensor cleaning in my D700 is very low volume high frequency squeak, I have it set to clean at start up and shut down. You have to have your ear fairly close to the camera to hear it.

that's what the d-7000 manual says, but I have never heard anything coming from the camera,even with my ear right next to it.thats kinda why I was questioning it. Troy
