"D7100 BIF Photos Warbirds that is"

The Collings Foundation had their P51 Mustang Betty Jane and B17 Nine o Nine at a local airport and I slipped up there on lunch to catch a few photos .
These were all shot with 1/3 image Area .

Thank you for posting your excellent photos. The bring back found memories of a little kid who loved the B17 and P51 and made dozens of models of each from balsa and paper all hanging from my bedroom ceiling. That was in the mid 50's when there were quite a few existing aircraft of all the WWII aircraft and surplus spare parts. The closest I got to owning any of then was duplicating the radio bays of the B17. I used the ART-13 B17 main transmitter that I used to talk by Morse code to dozens of countries with ham radio on short wave.
I have toured the Nine 'o Nine years later.

Stan I love WWII aircraft and history.
My father-in-law was a radio operator on a B-17 during WWII and that is pretty kewl that you used ART-13 B17 main transmitter .
