Went to my camera store who tell me they have my ordered D7100 but have been ordered not to release them until tomorrow orders of Nikon!

Yes, I preordered from a major Canadian retailer the same day as they listed it on their website. Shipment has been promised for Mar 21, the day Nikon told them to release preorders.

Funny, the D7000 was selling here for as low as $749 2 months ago but, since the introduction of the D7100, the price has increased to anywhere between $849 & $899? Go figure. Canadian Loonie has dropped a bit compared to the U.S. dollar & Japanese yen but that doesn't begin to explain that large an increase. Thought they might be promoting sales of the D7100 but that doesn't make sense.

.....$299 in Canada for the MB-D15! Now listed for preorder.
