"A little more D7100 Stuff" Mon 18-Mar-13 06:55 PM by billD80
I love the shutter release. It's the slightest bit stiffer than the D7000 (which I adjusted to, just fine). This requires the slightest bit more effort to squeeze, and I suspect the "hair-trigger" frustrations some people had with the D7100 won't be as common (unless coming from a D200). It reminds me of my Olympus OM-4Ti shutter. You can pick up pretty quickly when the shutter is going to fire. I haven't fired any shots I didn't intend to.
The shutter also feels very smooth (similar to the D7000).
Here's one done wide open on the original Tamron 17-50/2.8. STANDARD picture setting, with sharpening now set to '5'. No PP. Obviously I won't be needing to upgrade the lens.
