Sure it will work, but, not iTTL.

Use it either manual or "A". Give it a try!!

I used the SB-24 with a D1x for a couple of years and it worked great, only problem was with over exposure. I usally set my flash to -.3 or -.7 and that took care of the problem. Since you're shooting digital you can practice and get dialed in. Good luck!
