I wanted to post a quick update for the forum. I had posted last year about not getting what I wanted out of a photo shoot at an Ice Hockey game. Many of you were very helpful in my understanding of how to best utilize my (at the time) new D7000 for the situation I was putting it in.
I wanted to say THANKS!!! again, and say that this time around I was much happier with the results I got.
Now if I could only get the ice to stop being a shade of pink... Next time

If you use the Pre setting on White Balance, and use the Ice as targetting something white, you should be all set for the whole game. Really zoom in on the whitest section of ice...
