"MS-D11"

Albuquerque, US

I finally saved up and purchased my new D7000 from Adorama today. My question is can you used the ms-d11 battery tray with the body, or will I need to purchase the vertical battery grip? Thanks in advance for any information.

Good shooting,
Lee

The ms-d11battery tray is made for use in the MB-D11 grip.

Do you already have the ms-d11?

If you do not have the grip you do not need the ms-d11.

I do not have the grip, but I am planning on purchasing one when funds become available. I was just curious if I could use the battery tray without the grip, as I have lots of AA's and a good charger for them. Thanks for the information, Dave.

Good shooting,

The tray only works inside the grip.

AFAIK, the MB-D11 comes with an MS-D11.
