"How can I control my D7000 remotely?"

Hello,

I'm working on a camera dolly system for time lapse photography. Since the D7000 has a built in intervolometer I obviously don't NEED one, however, it would be nice to configure the camera and dolly settings from a single screen on the dolly system and not hte camera itself.

I would like to use my microcontroller to set up the camera (exposure, timer, aperture, shutter, etc) and dolly (speed, stop while taking a picture, direction, etc).

Has anyone done this, or know what relevent documentation I should be reading to do this, I seem to be unable to find the information I want.

Thank you...

There are a number of good solutions for doing remote with a PC. I use NKRemote from Breeze Systems with my Nikon D300, but have not tried it on either of my D7000, or D5100, but the site says it will work them, as well as the 800/800E. Link here:
