I have a Yonghu RF602 remote release with a cable that fits my D80, I also have a cable for, I think, a D300. What type of connector does the D7K have? Will either of mine work?

You can use a Nikon MC-DC2 remote release in the Accessory Terminal, see page 281 of your manual, the same release as the D90/5000.

The D100/200/300/1/2/3 use the 10 pin accessory. The D80/70s uses the MC-DC1. Each is a different cable.
