I got a call last week that my D-7000 was in so they held it for me while I was on vacation and I picked it up this afternoon (body only). Charging the battery at this time. I got it from my small local store here on Long Island , NY.

Got mine from a local shop "Pardee's" in Sacramento. It was the only one that they had. They took the kit lense out of the box and sold me the body only, which is what I wanted. Then, I called to cancel my order with Adorama in NYC. My (outstanding) salesman seemed happy that I got one locally.
