"Anyone has an opinion on D7000 skin tones?" Sun 31-Oct-10 10:40 AM by aerobat

I currently use a D200 and D300 for people photography. The D200 shall soon be replaced as I'm looking for an upgrade in low light capability. I'll keep the D300 as it's still low on actuations and I like many of its features. But I always found it challenging to get the skin tones right with the D300. Online photos indicate that the D7000 should have nice skin tones. Did anyone compare it to the previous CMOS sensors of the D300 (D90)?

D7000 and D300 side by side in studio with same settings and almost same lens 85 1.4d on D300, G on D7000. If there is any difference in skin tones, I could not detect it. Sorry I can't post the images, I don't have releases.
