"Ugg NAS got the best of me."

Irvine, US

I just ordered the d7000. Should have it this wed. Replacing my 1.5 years old d90. Why? I can give you all the reasons I gave myself to justify the purchase but in the end we all know I did it because I had to. I just hope I see some difference to make me feel good about my weakness. Sometimes I feel as though a drug addiction would be easier. It would be easier to hide from my girlfriend!

Congratulations on your new camera.

Now have you thought about converting your D90 to IR?

I think I'm going to sell it. Wouldn't use it enough to make it worth it.

I've loaned my D40X to my son and daughter-in-law - am lookng forward to pictures of grandkids!

either the D40X or the D7000 is more camera that I am photographer, but I'm getting used to the D7000 - really like the high iso capabilities.

The D7000 is one kick-ass camera! My D300 is now a back up to it, the D7000's noise handling at higher ISO is way ahead. Plus, on quiet mode it's very discrete for street shooting with a small prime. Congrats!

I know a sure cure for NAS. It's called a budget! (or more accurately, being broke!)

I received the camera today. She is beautiful. I'm curios though, I don't see a warranty card in the box. Its from b & h. Does nikon still send then with a card and can I still register it without one?
