Works just like the MB-D11 although it wiggles just a little. Functionality is great - and I will not spend the extra $100+ for the Nikon version due to my limited use. BUT, if I used a grip all the time, I'd prefer one that is a more stable than my Zeikos. Bottom line: it works for me, but if you are a heavy user, go with the Nikon.
I have the MB-D11 and it has a small amount of wiggle, but I never notice it during normal use. Only time I really notice it is if I wiggle it on purpose. It works awesome with my heavy 80-200 f2.8 AF-D, and my 70-300 VRII. I have rather large hands, so it's a good fit.
There is another thread dealing with grips, and one Nikonian mentioned using a small rubber O ring from Home Depot or Lowe's that solved the wiggle issue. I have yet to try it.
