"Aperture 2 and "Unsupported Image Format" message----Help Please"

I am having a problem downloading photos from two of my SanDisk CF cards via a SanDisk reader. Neither card is full (one shows about 20 shots left and the other 50) but when I download them into Capture (version 2.1.4) two things have happened. I get the message "unsupported image format" with one of the cards. I can see the photos in the Browser but when I individually click on them they are way out of focus sometimes and at other times the "unsupported image format" message appears.

The second card goes through the import process and then states none were imported.

Any suggestions?

When you say "download them into Capture" do you mean Aperture?

If so, you need to have the latest system updates depending on what camera you are using.
