"Lightroom 3"

I am trying to download some pictures. When I try to import some shots into Lightroom, I get a message that the camera is not recognized and to check for updates. I downloaded a bunch of pictures with my D300 and had no problems. Any ideas? I apologize if this is the wrong forum. Thanks I shot the picture in Raw 14 bit 36megapixels.

Lightroom 4 is needed for the D800 raw format.

It's a worthwhile update, it is on version 4.2 now, and they significantly lowered the price.

Your only other (and very ugly) alternative is to convert first to DNG (the DNG converter is free from Adobe) then import those.
