"How to include raw file in post"

Color me stupid, but I can't figure out how to include a raw image in a post to this forum. I tried *choose your attachments* but saw no option for raw files. I tried to just copy and paste it into a post but that didn't work either.

Anyone?

Hmm, I thought--I'm pretty sure--on the D700/D800 forum someone was problem solving and posted a raw file in response to someone else asking to see the raw file so they could try to trouble shoot it

It may have been an unprocessed JPG from RAW to see what the original looked like. RAW cannot be displayed unless converted to JPG because that is what computer monitors require and RAW requires special software to extract JPG data from it to display.

RAW files are way too big for Nikonians to host. The only way to do this is to host it on another site and point to it via a link here.
