"D7100 Metadata"

Looking at EXIF metadata on my D7100 images imported into Lightroom (4 or 5), I see that the "35mm focal length" value is the same as the lens focal length value, and not an adjusted value like my imported D70s photos. Is it just me, or is it a bug?

I have seen this reported in a couple of different places, so it looks like it may be a firmware problem -- maybe they will fix in an update at some point.

Thanks. Firmware, huh? I figured it more of an Adobe camera profile thing, as the only programs I've ever seen to report that field are LR and Adobe Bridge.

Apps (like LR) report it, but its in the meta-data, and that is written by the camera.

Interesting to see if a D7100 firmware update comes out soon.

FYI - just applied firmware update 1.01 - I always wait before doing any firmware or software update - and it appears to have fixed this.
