"date imprint in LR"

US

Guys,

I've been asked to publish one image a day with date imprinted in the image. Is this possible to do it in LR4.4

Thanks
Best regards,
Vlad

I've never tried but evidently you can print the date below the file using LR and within the file using LR2/Mogrify.

go to Edit>Watermark.

Enter the date and adjust the placement location, font, size, etc. Save the preset with a name of choice. Then apply it to an image.

The next day, "edit" the watermark with the new date. Save and apply it to the new image.

Repeat each day as needed.

This is a simple option.

You can also turn on the date imprint in your camera menu. But then you might forget to turn it off.

Thanks, Diane,

i'll try to chose RAW +JPEG and RAW's should not be affected. But it needs to be tested.

I thought about the watermarks. but then each edit creates a new watermark. is there is a way to resave existing one?

Best regards,
Vlad

Yes,
Go to Edit watermark. Change the date, then use "Edit Preset "xxxxx" from the pull down menu to save the new date into the old preset. xxxxx would be the name of the preset you used originally.
