Just thought I would share my experiance with everyone.

I figured that since Berger Bros. has this forum they are probably paying a sponsership fee so I thought it was only fair to give them a chance to earn my business.

I just bought the new Tamron 17-50 VC from Lisa. Called her up and discussed this lens and a flash. Lisa was very patient with my questions and concerns. After listening to my needs she actually recomended the cheaper SB-600 flash. Most places would normally push for the higher priced items.

Anyway's, I gave myself the weekend to think about it. I also wanted to check it out in person so I went to my local shop. After testing one I had some concerns with the VC. Unfortunatly the shop ws not much help saying that "all VC lens do that, even Nikon" Well mine don't and they were not to interested in looking to see what I was concerned about.

Called Lisa the next week and talked to her about it. She offered to check out a copy and e-mail me what she thought. Her answer was aceptable and I finally placed my order.

Got the lens in a timly fashion and the copy I got did not show the issues that I experianced at the local shop.

Overall a very good experiance and once I finally decide to get that flash I'll be giving Lisa another call!
