I have a Kenko MF7 2X teleconverter without AF and results were not bad, it works OK with a Nikkor 300 F4.5 ED AiS. But now I have instaled an AF-confirm chip on it, and I have other lenses that works with AF, AF-D, and AF-S.

So I want a teleconverter that allows me to keep exposure metering on that lens, but also that allows autofocus in AF and AF-S lenses.

I have been reading a lot about this, but didn't find advice on the forum, most posts of teleconverters date back to 2003 - 2008.

For what I have been reading there seems to be 3 teleconverters that could do the job:

Nikkor TC20E I, II, o III (with a litte hack, but i understand it won't auto Focus on AF lenses)

Teleplus Pro 300 DG-X for Nikon

Kenko MC7 AF DG-X Teleplus

¿It is a difference between Kenko 300 DG-X and MC7 AF DG-X?

¿It is a big difference between theses two and a Nikon TC20E?
