"'Green Line of Death' - fault in D5100s' LCD"

OK, maybe not 'Death' ...or at least I hope not!

I've been happily playing with my $300 used D5100 for a week or so now. Everything seemed just fine ...apart from the way its output blows my D2X away! 8>/

Anyway, today I noticed a fine green vertical line, from top to bottom of the LCD display, about 12mm from the right side. It's always there now, whenever the screen is powered up, over-writing whatever mode the display is in.

Kind of a bummer 8>/

Has anyone seen or heard of this fault? Any suggestions?

thanks
D2xer
