"D5000 Monitor turning off"

GB	The auto turn off of the monitor on the D5000 is 8 seconds - the default value. How do I increase this?

The monitor off delay, along with the other Auto-off Timer values, is controlled using Custom Setting c2. Check page 157 of the D500 manual for more details
