What size do I save images to avoid cropping?
With my Olympus camera I always had to save images in odd size to avoid cropping at the printers. I now use a D3200, do I need to save images in a particular size, if I want 12x8 will I get 12x8 or if I ask for 9x6 will it be 9x6. Thanks

YOur D3200 (like all Nikon's DSLR cameras) has what is called an "aspect ratio" of 3:2 - which means the sensor is one-and-a-half times as wide as it is high.
Images can therefore be printed without cropping at any size that has the same aspect ratio, for example 6x4, 9x6, 12x8, 15x10 and so on. Paper sizes with a different aspect ratio, such as 7x5 or 10x8, will necessitate a crop.
