"Same RAW in TIFF gets bigger ?"

Saint-Basile-Le-Grand, CA

Hi,

I have this interogation for a while but I never got a chance to post it.

On the D300, the RAW resolution is 4 288 x 2 848. When I save a RAW in TIFF, using CaptureNX, the resolution is now 4 320 x 2 868. Where those pixels come from.

This is not the case every time. Vertical TIIFs, most oftenly, seem to keep the original dimension, but it happens more frequently with horozontal ones.

Anyone has an explanation.

Thanks

Sorry,

I should have post this message in D300's forum. I misread the title.

Admin, can you delete this post?

Thanks
