Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to Nikonians!
There are many options.
Will you be a Guest or the Pro Wedding Photographer?
If you want to be a Wedding Pro, you will need a minimum of two bodies and at least one back-up for each piece of equipment including Lenses, Speedlights, Memory Cards, Batteries, etc.... If something fails, you must be able to continue shooting without losing a beat.
What camera body will you be using?
When you get a few minutes please fill in your User Profile including the Equipment tab. It will help us provide better answers to your questions. Thanks in advance.
Do you have a budget in mind?
When shooting a DX body, the 17-55mm f/2.8G ED IF AF-S is a go to lens for many wedding Pro's.
The 24-70mm, f/2.8G ED IF AF-S, 28-70mm f/2.8D ED IF AF-S, 70-200mm f/2.8G ED IF AF-S VR, and VR II are the top zooms for both FX and DX bodies. Primes like the 50mm f/1.4G AF-S, AF 50mm f/1.4D, 85mm f/1.4G AF-S, AF 85mm f/1.4D IF AF-S, AF 105mm f/2D DC, 105mm f/2.8G ED IF AF-S VR, AF-135mm f/2D DC, among others can be used for portraits, rings, etc....
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Best Regards,
Marty
