"5100 Custom White Balance"

Alexandria, US

On the suggestion of a friend I just purchased a expodisc for my 5100. How do I set a custom white balance using the disc? Thank you for your help as I try (very hard I might add) to become a better photographer.

Visit my Nikonians gallery.

Put the ExpoDisc on the lens, point the lens at the light source, take the reference photo.
