"Multiple shoe to use wireless remote and flash diffuser?"

Hi,

I have been looking for an attachment for my D5100 so I can use these 2 accessories at the same time. Does anyone have any ideas to what I can use? These are the accessories:

Remote -

Diffuser -

Thanks

The pictures suggest that the remote receiver does not need to be attached to the hotshoe, so you could use tape/Velcro to attach it to the sides/bottom of the camera.

Ye, spent a while looking on the net and came up with that solution. Although I did find somthing called a J-cube that is basically a cube that fixes to the hot shoe that gives another five spaces. It also allows you to use multiple attachments that need access to the camera via the hotshoe. But at 80$!! I think I'll buy a £1 roll of velcro.

Hi Ben,

Welcome to Nikonians!
The remote shutter release does not have to be mounted in the cameras hotshoe to work. You can use velcro or string to tie the receiver to the tripod.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Best Regards,
Marty

I have a V adapter that mounts to the shoe, but it does not transfer any electronics. $13.60 Amazon

I have a C shaped clamp that connect to the TriPod mount with two similar shoe type connections.
However, it does not block the camera shoe.

Then there are flat bars that also connect to the base and can still use a TriPod too.

So, keep searching
