Hi Everyone!Hiking in the woods with my new D3100 strapped to me I must have rubbed my elbow against the lens and the cap popped out. So it's lost forever.Where can I buy another one? It doesn't even have to be a real Nikon one, just one that will fit on the AF-S 18-55 lens!Thank you in advance!
You can try a local Nikon dealer.

It should be possible to find a generic 52mm lens cap at any decent photographic dealer. If you want the genuine Nikon cap, its part number is LC-52.
I just did the same thing - I have a pair of them on order from www.bocaphoto.com - they usually have this stuff quickly.

No, the 18-55 uses a 52mm cap.
