"Anyone ready to buy a D300s?"

I'm not but I am hoping it'll drive the D300 prices down to the $1200 price range so I can afford one. Also, why did Nikon choose 720p instead of 1040p like Canon? Are they using the D90 video capture technology which prevents this?

I highly doubt the advent of the D300s will have any significant impact on the D300 price as the inventory of D300's is dissappearing as it's replacment (D300s) is waiting in the wings. Even used, the D300 should hold its value until the D400 is released at sometime in the future.
