Does anyone know how to get the darn thumbnail/calendar thing to stop showing up after I take a picture.? Appreciate any help.........J.

You can turn off the preview and quit chimping the images, page 118 of the user manual.

You can also change the Thumb Nail Playback screen to a different screen, see page 98 of the user manual.
