"D5000 HD VIDEO QUALITY"



Just bought D500 & finding HD video quality to be awful..anybody here have same problem, any special settings for camera to get good quality? Thanks in advance

It would be hard to guess without more specific information about what "awful" is to you, and if you have had much experience with SLR cameras and adjusting for exposure, DOF etc.
What is wrong with your videos.
Note that a DSLR is not a point and shoot video or still camera, it takes active participation by the user. If an image is good it is due to the photographer using a DSLR, conversely, when it is bad, the operator gets to claim that credit also because some much power and flexibility is built in but only if used effectively.

Video is quite choppy & lacking detail I am using class 6 cards. Dont know if living in PAL land makes a difference?
