"LensPEN Lens Cleaner"

Nicosia, CY

Hi,

Would you recommend those LensPens for cleaning your lens? Or would you stick to the traditional way with the lens tissues and liquid?

Any experiences, problems with them? They look handy and take no space in the gear. But do they cause any problems or scratches to the lens glass?

thank you,
George

I did a fair amount of research on cleaning lenses and found lots of people that like the lens pen.I have used mine a few times so far and like it very much.I've noticed that with a solution and micro fiber cloth that the lens seems to turn into a dust magnet after cleaning.that does'nt happen with the lens pen therefore,I don't have to clean as often.lenses have fragile coatings on them, the less you have to clean them, the better.I also use a rocket blower first before any cleaning.I don't know the statistics, but there are some cleaning solutions that should not be used.maybe someone else can jump in on that one.the lens pen works great on finger prints. Yes, I have been looking for those reviews and never found something negative. That's why I wanted to confirm that it's safe to use.

It looks really handy (and of course very cheap) solution! If it also works, that would be great!

I guess that the only way is to try ...!!

Thanks for the response!

George.

I'm a big fan of the lens pen... They are cheap and they work well. I always carry one in my bag.
