"Potential D3 Firmware Upgrade possible?"

The new D700 seems to be a sweet solution.
While there are actually some improved features over the D3, I am hoping, as in the past, that some of those features will find themselves in a future firmware upgrade.

Interesting: mistake in the first paragraph:
"The D700 also becomes the first professional Nikon DSLR to sport a built-in flash."
Actually, Nikon classified the D100, D200 and D300 as professional.

However, all of the new features they mention seem to be hardware dependent. A pity.
