"Best MB-D10 clone?"

I made the mistake of selling my MB-D10 because I didn't think I used it enough to keep it. I can't afford anohter one right now but thought about about getting a clone for occasional use. Which one works bests? Too many knock offs to tell the good from the bad.

Sorry, but MB-D10 is the best out there, clone or not. None of the rest compare.

I only use OEM equipment...

too many variables when you go off OEM....

Unfortuantely they are $$$ but, they work.


Check Ebay other sites....people sell goodies all the time to raise cash.

I think this one is a no brainer... the MB-10 is the best option for a grip. Build quality and weather sealing alone sets it apart from the others.

Whenever electrical contacts are involved, I don't like to look aftermarket.

I use a Zeikos that cost $69 bucks and works fine. Has for 2 years and I've used it on a D300s and currently on my D700. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Nikon's great, but all the grip does is add some extra juice and a handle...

I tried a vivatar on my d-700 but it seems to drain the batteries alot ,so now it's on the shelf and I'm trying to save some money for the real deal.

We second the Ziekos.

3 of us have D700 and use the Ziekos. It is more than enough. I would like OEM, but not for 5X the cost.

I also now have a D800 and certainly will need an after market grip for it soon.

I have seen counterfeit MB-D10 which D700 swore were OEM, but inspection using Nikon website showed them to not be OEM.
