I finally got around to looking at the pictures I took at the Formula One race in Austin, Texas. The pictures came out pretty well for an "outdated" camera like the D700. The D800 probably would have worked out pretty well, but at 4fps I may have had less keepers. I used a Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 EDIF manual lens (and a matching TC301), a 28-300, and my favorite 16mm fisheye.

Good job with the panning. The spinning tires help the car "look right".
