"Sync Time via USB?" Sat 27-Oct-12 02:59 PM by jeremy_c

I own a D700 and D300s. I am going to be using both this afternoon and was wondering if there was a way I could syncronize the date/time on both via a USB connection. I know that the Nikon Transfer utility can do it some how, but I don't use that. I was really wondering if anyone made a third party program that I can simply connect my camera, sync the time and be done?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Since no one has hacked Nikon camera's firmware, I would guess they are using memory mapped ports for their entry points into the cameras firmware and unless one knows the exact memory location to update to get a function to work you are out of luck. Because of this I do not think many people are going to provide this for every possible camera for free or even for a fee.
