Troll mode ON

I'm in favour of a separate, dedicated forum for the soon to be announced FX-for-us-poor-people-who-feel-the-age-of-our-D700, aka D600.

It could be the D700's replacement. Better hold off till we hear more IMO.

D600, why. They have d700 - D799 with s & X modifiers, that's what close to 300 models.

Having picked up a D700 I think its time for an update. I rather shoot with my D7k which IMO has better resolution and renders colors better than the D700. I would really like to see and FX sensor with roughly 24 mp in a D7K body. I don't need the BIM due all my lenses being AF-S.
