"Shutter failed today then started working again"

Meridian, US

The shutter on my camera stopped working for about 10 minutes today. It seemed like it couldnt get back into the right position or something. When I turned off the power button, the shutter clicked like it was trying to get back to rest, when I turned the power button on, it would flap the mirror again. Camera wouldnt focus, lcd would not light up, none of the buttons were working. Whe I set the camera to manual focus, the shutter would fire, and the card would get written, but it would show no preview. I changed couple of lenses to see if it was due to lens not being mounted correctly, but the same issue persisted. After a few of the power restarts the camera started working again.

Anybody know if I should send the camere into service?

Sounds like an AF issue. Maybe it didn't reset or something. If you remove the batteries and let things discharge for maybe 30 minutes, the problem might not resurface?
