I've been playing with Auto ISO on my D700, and really like the concept. I have my max ISO and min shutter speed set where I want them for most of my shooting. But there are some occasions where I want to turn it off and set ISO manually.

What have you all found to be the simplest way to get back into manual ISO control? Do you put in in My Menu? Do you assign a function button to take you there? Any other alternatives?

I have the auto iso in "My Menu" but also set up a shooting bank with my preferred auto iso settings. My reasoning behind doing both was that i'm not sure which i find easier at this point, so its a try them both to see scenerio.

auto iso is on the top of my menu and i use the function button to recall that...

i shoot random things during walk arounds and use strobes once in a while...
