"Easiest way to turn Auto ISO on/off"

Toronto, CA

Hi, I like to use the Auto ISO setting when not in Manual mode. But I hate going into the menu to shut it off. Then going to menu to turn it on again. Is there a way to set one of the buttons (eg. FUNC) to turn this on and then press it again to turn it on?

Just wondering if someone else using this feature found a faster way to turn it off and on.

I have my FUNC button set to "Access top item in My Menu". In "My Menu" the top item is the "ISO sensitivity auto control" option. When I push the FUNC button I get the menu option to turn auto ISO on or off.

Yeah, it looks like that's the fastest way with the D700. Thanks Stephen.

Great tip. I have set the top button for this function and left the bottom one for the bracketing. Unfortunately you can't do it on the d300.

I personally use shooting banks, one is set eith auto iso. i then use the info button to swith banks. its fairly quick. although if I change any other options I have to be careful to change it in both if thats what I want. I don't tend to change settings much though.
