"Kirk L bracket for D700 received today !"

Williamsburg, US

Hi everyone,
I received my pre-ordered Kirk L bracket today for my new D700, fits like a glove and looks great, very useful. I really like these brackets and Kirk is "Made in the USA". Very good tool, love how they offer horizontal and vertical orientations quickly,
Debra

Hi Debra,

Did you get the bracket for the D700 body only, or the one for the D700 with MB-D10 grip?

Dave,
This is the bracket without the grip, I decided no grip for me,
Thanks,
Debra

I agree with Debra, the new KIRK grip for the D700 body fits very close to the body. I can also add that the RRS L bracket for the D300 with the MB-10 battery grip also fits the D700 very well. The side panel is accesable with the bracket in place, despite what I have read in other threads.
I like the fact the one battery grip can do double duty on either the D300 or the D700.

Thanks Debra & Edgar, its good to know this bracket is now available.

Looking at the pictures on the Kirk website, the fit looks great.
