"Anyone with D3, D300, and D700?"

Can you describe the shutter feel of the new D700 compared to the D3 and D300? To me the D3 shutter is "snappy" compared to the D300, which to me feel "muffled" and "sticky." I'm wondering if the D700 has that D3's shutter feel or more like the D300.

The sound on the D300 is I guess muffled compared to the D3, but it does not really mean anything significant in terms of performance, its just sounds different.

I have a D2X, D300 & now D700 .... they all sound different....
