Hi to all - I am a new member and I have been following the discussion on downloading the Nikon extra Picture Control Landscape - Portrait - Dx2_1 - Dx2_2 and DX2_3 I did manage to get Landscap- Portrait and Dx2_1 and _3 on the Camera and DX2_2 on a Compact flash. Now when I look at the settings for all the Picture Control - in Camera - supplied by Nikon I have difficulty understanding what the differences they do have. So far I only see a difference in the Sharpening Standart is set to 3 - Neutral is set to 2 - Vivid is set to 4 - Landscape is set to 5 - Portrait is set to 2 and all Dx2 are set to 2 in the Sharpening. All other setting are set to 0 ( Contrast - Brightness - Saturation - Hue.
So my question is - where are the settings that Nikon are supplying to us like for Landscape to make the shot more vivid and for Portrait for soft Natural skin.
How do we see those setting (Nikon) or are they secret ?
