Recently had to exchange camera because of an issue with the sensor. Fortunetly I discovered it while cropping an image but most importantly, having dealt with B&H.. they handled the issue famously..

The problem seemed to be more prevelant when shooting at 1600 ISO against a dark background...The bad Pixel was not visible unless I cropped up to about 100%..

Ken,

Yes, that is a classic bad photosite ("hot pixel").
I would have had Nikon remap it rather than doing the exchange.
