"Lens test using a very "Pinoy" subject"

Ajax, CA

Just got a new AF 50mm f1.4 D. Had to test it to make sure the lens/camera combo was not back-focusing (it was not).

This barrel-man was the first item I could grab. I'm guessing only a true Pinoy will know what it is. If I wanted to test the lens' depth-of-field maybe I should have lifted it huh?

Get out of the car.
Get closer to the subject.
Pick the right mid-tone this time.
