Hindi bosing puro tripod yan, aperture priority, kit lens (18-55mm)but the mosque is a 10-20mm Sigma + remote trigger. ive been reading about vibration eh. pero masaya ako sa sharpness ng lens.

Last Easter some of the kids were playing basketball outside in the waning light. I remembered a trick mentioned by Scott Kelby (forgot which book). I put warming gel on the SB800, WB in camera set to tungsten. Result is cool blue bias on sky and warm skin tone on our athelete.

Yes of course. The trick is to set your shutter speed 1-3 seconds. On a bright day you may need to put an ND 3 stop filter and close down your aperture. If needed you may use CP on top of your ND filter.

Rhayan,

Pag walang flash, kailangan tamang tama ang White Balance settings mo. Kasi yung kulay nang ilaw ang lalabas sa litrato. Pag meron ibat-ibang mga ilaw, ang pinakamalakas o pinakamalapit na ilaw ang dapat gamitin mo para sa settings. Dilaw ang litrato sa gitna kasi ang ilaw duon ay Incandescent. So set your White Balance to incandescent pag walang flash diyan.

Inaayos ko nang kaunti using Photoshop Elements. Pero mahirap talagang aayusin sa PC kung hindi tama ang setting sa camera. Ginamit ko yung "Remove Color Cast." Kailangan mag-click sa isang object na puti, itim or grey (pwede rin ibang mid-tone na kulay imbis na grey). Ginamit ko ynng jacket niya. Perho hindi kasing accurate kung sinet mo sa camera sa umpisa. Philosophy ko - "set it in the camera, not on the PC." Pwedeng ayusin ito nang madali kung RAW ang ginagamit mo, pero pag JPEG or TIFF, ipit ka kasi hard-coded na yun sa litrato at mahirap tangalin/ayusin.



Ngayon, ynng flash photo mo sa taas - tama. Pero, kita mo na dumidilim ang background nang kaunti. Kasi yung shutter speed mo, mataas at tama para sa safe handholding, para hindi lalabas na "shaky" di ba? Pero, since hindi gumagalaw ang subject mo, ibaba mo nang kaunti - kunyari, 1/30th of a second imbis na 1/60th. Ang mangyayari diyan - mag babalance ang flash at yung ilaw sa kwarto sa lakas - makikita mo pa rin ang main subject, pero lalabas ang mga details sa background. Heto - may sample ako sa Galleries ko.

Finally, halata mo na mababa talaga ang shutter speed mo sa dalawang litrato na walang flash. Ang "rule of thumb" kumbaga ay - ang shutter speed mo dapat 1/your focal length. So - yung litrato sa baba - nasa 105mm ka diyan. Dapat ang shutter speed mo 1/100 or as close as you can get. Itaas mo yung ISO mo as high as possible to get there, kasi kitang-kita ang handshake mo at speeds below 1/30th. Nakikta mong naginging soft yung focus mo kasi nag-aalog yung kamay mo.

Okey? Ayos! Sana naman nakakatulong ito!
