"Nikon D200 In-Depth vs. Advanced"
Mon 07-Apr-08 12:47 AM by Carney2

Allentown, US

There are no Nikon D200 In-Depth classes available within a reasonable distance of me, but there is a convenient Nikon D200 Advanced course scheduled less than 2 hours away. Would I be wasting my time in the Advanced workshop if I have not sat thru the In-Depth session?

A little background: I have been a serious amateur for decades and have been using my D200 for about 11 months at this point. I have read the manual and have read and re-read the Magic Lantern Guide for the D200. I am reasonably comfortable with the camera. I have done nothing with custom settings and am probably not using even half of the capabilities of the camera, but I don't know that for a fact.

In your case, take the Advanced course.

Concur. I'm pretty similar in terms of history and camera use. I took the Advanced class this past month in Savannah and thought it was excellent.
